FIRST TASTE OF THRIVE. AUGUST 18.
These photos were taken in the late afternoon of August 18 2009 after the Denton County
Sheriffs Dept. seized the horses on Friday August 14. From the seizure until this time
the 43 mares and gelding pictured here had only eaten hay and water for fear of colic. I
was asked to view the horses and ascertain what protocol would be most effective to
rehabilitate the horses back to health.
